The basics
In these terms, "Auntie" ("we", "us", "our") means the Auntie mobile application and the auntieastrology.app website. By using Auntie, you agree to these terms. The app is provided as-is. Auntie is an astrology app — not a licensed therapist, financial advisor, or medical professional. Readings are for entertainment and personal reflection.
Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide accurate birth data for your readings to work properly. You may not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
You can permanently delete your account at any time in the app (You → Delete Account). Purchased credits and reports are tied to your account and cannot be recovered after deletion.
Free and paid features
Auntie offers a free tier that includes your daily Vedic reading, panchang, dasha timeline, the learn section, and one Ask Auntie question. No purchase is required to use the free tier.
The Inner Circle subscription (monthly or yearly, auto-renewing) unlocks daily readings for all 12 signs, all six life areas, and three Ask Auntie questions each month. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or canceled in your App Store account settings.
Reports are separate purchases, charged per use: Compatibility per partner birth-data edition, Best Date per date query, and Year Ahead per year. The Birth Chart reading is a single one-time purchase. Additional Ask Auntie questions are sold as consumable credit packs. All purchases are processed and managed by Apple through the App Store.
A Compatibility Report reflects the birth information available for both people when it is purchased. If either birth time is unknown, Auntie will tell you before payment that the report will be partially personalised. You may cancel or choose to continue. Partial reports use the verified information available, omit time-sensitive claims that cannot be supported, and may show verified ranges instead.
If you later use your permitted birth-time correction, a Compatibility Report you already purchased may be refreshed at no additional charge using the same partner information as the original report. If the other person later adds or corrects their birth time, a report using their updated birth profile is a new paid report. You may continue to read the original report without purchasing the update. A failed generation attempt may be retried without another charge for the same purchased report.
Refunds
Because readings are generated instantly and personalized to your chart, we cannot offer refunds on premium reports once they have been delivered. For subscription-related refunds, please contact Apple or Google directly through their respective app stores.
Content and intellectual property
All readings, content, design, and code within Auntie are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell any generated readings or app content without written permission.
You may share your personal readings on social media (Auntie encourages it).
AI-generated content
Auntie's readings are generated using AI (OpenAI) based on traditional Vedic astrology principles and your personal birth chart data. While we strive for accuracy in astrological interpretation, AI-generated content should not be taken as professional advice of any kind.
Limitation of liability
Auntie is not liable for any decisions you make based on your readings. Astrology is a tool for reflection, not a substitute for professional advice. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
